Een belangrijke term om te onthouden: EBC staat voor European Brewery Convention. Deze benoemt de kleur van je bier. Lager dan 10 is heel licht geel, vanaf 26 meer amberkleurig, 30 tot 79 koperkleurig tot donkerbruin … hoe hoger, hoe donkerder.
