The FTSs Touch is designed to be paired with systems like the Unitank, Chronical BME, Chronical 2.0 and Brite Tank BME, which already have a cooling coil and neoprene jacket.

The FTSs Touch uses a precision temperature controller with a 3,5” Touch Display that constantly monitors the temperature of your fermentation. When the temperature of your beer varies by over 1°, the system circulates your chill source liquid through the chiller coil until the temperature is stabilized. Your chill source can be as simple as a cooler with ice or as sophisticated as a Ss Glycol Chiller. In Chilling and Heating Mode temperatures can be corrected both up and down. For this, the optional FTSs Touch | Heating Pad (sold separately) is needed.

Cooling – Heating – Crash Mode
The 3.5" touchscreen is the perfect balance of compact design and functionality. Large, high contrast temperature data is visible at a glance. A nice feature of the FTSs Touch are the temperature presets that allow you to set up and program the unit with a single touch. Great for switching quickly and easily between Ale and Lager fermentations or jumping between commonly used temperatures. Along with these programmable presets for fermentation, the FTSs Touch is also programmed with a Crash Mode. In Crash Mode, you can store multiple crash presets and switch from ferment to crash with a single press of a button.
The screen colour shows you what the unit is doing at a glance, illuminating the screen orange during heating, blue during cooling, grey when the system is paused and a shade of purple in Crash mode.
Data analysis / export
The FTSs Touch has an USB port which allows for exportable data downloads , which can then be dropped into an Excel template to display highly detailed graphing of what occurred during a fermentation cycle. This allows you to analyse what went right or wrong during the fermentation process and will allow for a better repeatability and process improvement.
The FTSs Touch's USB port also allows firmware updates to be made, which could be used to unlock new functionality, continue to improve temperature delta, or adapt the system to new products. Simply put, the FTSs is designed to grow with your home brewery.
Easy installation – FTSs Nub
Installation of the FTSs Touch is easy, by moving nearly all ports to a soft silicone moulded junction box, the FTSs Nub, only a single cable needs to be routed through the neoprene jacket to the display.
The DC power supply is a robust industrial-grade unit, all connection points are durable XC30 plugs, which make for a reliable and durable unit.
Every FTSs Touch kit will include two variations of screen mounts. A sleek black stand for those that wish to put the FTSs Touch screen on a flat surface, such as a nearby table, and an incredibly versatile TC mount that integrates with any standard TC clamp such that the FTSs Touch screen can be displayed from any TC connection on your fermenter.
FTSs Touch kits now include flexible 3/8” ID silicone tubing standard, which can be more easily routed, and prevent hardening when used with glycol chillers. In addition, we have included a silicone thermowell plug to further insulate temperature readings.
