In the drying process, this malt is slowly heated to 140 °C, delivering an aroma rich malt. Gives a typical malt flavour to the beer. Aroma loss is possible during long storage. Use up to 30 %. Contains gluten.
These barley malts with an EBC up to 50 are being used as base malt up to 100 %.
