This malt is produced at the Pauls Malt Ltd. plant in Knapton, North Yorkshire, UK. After the malting barley, with high germination and low nitrogen content, has gone through the soaking and germination phase, the malt is heated in a drum burner. Here, the endosperm becomes a liquid sugar solution that then crystallises into a glassy sugar layer.
Pauls Malt Deep Diver gives a balanced, sweet caramel flavour and extra body. No enzymatic potential. Contains gluten.
