Description - AnGus1516® Erbslöh 20 kg
AnGus1516® is a powder that precipitates oxalic acid in the beer wort and, at the same time reduces the protein content in the cast wort and thus serves for the prevention of gushing.
By adding this powder to a full cauldron of wort, the oxalic acid is bound during the cooking process and the formed calcium oxalate is then almost entirely separated together with the hot break formed later on in the whirlpool. Proteins lowering CO2 binding capacity are also reduced. After completion of the reaction a stable ratio of calcium to oxalate remains in the wort.
The product is a genuine alternative to calcium chloride and calcium sulphate, the commonly used products in the preparation of brewing water. Tested by specialised laboratories for purity and quality.
Dosage
20-60 g per hl wort is recommended, depending on the gushing potential.
